The first meeting of the 2012-2013 CGA year is:
10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 8, 2012
at ART Outfitters, 917 West 7th Street, Little Rock

It is the first in our "Year of Nuts & Bolts." The program will focus on NIBS & PENS. An expert panel of seasoned calligraphers (read 'oldies but goodies') will explain penpoints, markers, and fountain pens for doing calligraphy and lettering. Please feel free to bring any pens you have to show or to get dissected, learn to clean, or to play Stump the Calligraphers.

Since we haven't seen each other since last meeting year, please come early for coffee and visiting. There will be coffee and snacks at 9:30. You may also use this time to set items on a Show&Tell table. PLEASE bring recent calligraphic finds or projects to share. The meeting will begin promptly at 10:00.

Also, remember that dues are $15.00 for the coming year. Paying your dues by Saturday's meeting will insure your inclusion in our Membership Directory for this year.

Thank you. See you SATURDAY!

BONUS: Those of you with an iPad, here is the link to an interactive book on pointed pen styles, and it's FREE!
